The 2024 Teiko general elections will be held on 25 December 2024. This thread will cover the elections from Royal Council dissolution to the election results.

28 November 2024: Daijo-daijin Yaboku Yato has officially requested the Prince to dissolve the Royal Council.

03 December 2024: The National Electoral Commission officially releases the list of candidates for the 2024 Teiko general elections. The image below shows only constituency representation candidates. As standard practice by all political parties, all constituency representation candidates are generally also listed as proportional representation candidate ensuring a chance to be elected even when losing their constituency race.

07 December 2024: Teiko Shinbun, Onodera Media, and Teiko Television Network releases a briefer on the different political parties participating in the 2024 Teiko general election.

13 December 2024: Teiko Shinbun, Onodera Media, and Teiko Television Network releases a briefer on the Teiko general election.

14 December 2024: Senkyo 2024, the joint election research unit of Teiko Shinbun, Onodera Media, Teiko Television Network, and Arashi and Kanjani officially releases its constituency margin analysis and forecast of the 116 constituencies for the 2024 general elections.

24 December 2024: Teiko Shinbun and Onodera Media releases their final prediction for the 2024 general elections, a day before Teikonians go to vote.

25 December 2024: Senkyo 2024 releases their the exit poll for the 2024 general elections.

25 December 2024: The National Election Comission through Senkyo 2024 releases the first batch of results of the 2024 general elections.
